Item Description: Made by Alonzi furniture established in 1916 by 3 brothers who immigrated from Italy, one of which was the consignor's grandfather. After this furniture set was made in 1921,
Description Cont. 1: the pattern for these piece were never reproduced for anyone else. This company also made furniture for Pope John Paul XXIII private quarters in the Vatican. Exquisitely carved with fine detail. Fold out leaves,
Description Cont. 2: tabletop protector, some minor scratches on the top, leaves have some wear where they slide out, otherwise in excellent condition. Fabric on the chairs looks to be more modern, comes with 6 chairs, 2 are captains. 31" x
